Best Unit: Mounted Near Haradrim Warrior (Near Haradrim Warrior mounted on a camel).

Advantages: You have specific that clothes protect you from the heat of the desert, whereas other players will sustain gradual damage from the desert heat if they stand in direct sunlight in Near Harad. The traders of Near Harad buy and sell a wider variety of goods than any other kind of trader, allowing you to trade many different things for money as well as buy many different things. Far Harad is not too far away for additional resources (if you are on good terms with them).

Disadvantages: Poor food resources. Because Near Harad is so big, your cities are fairly far away from the other evil-aligned nations; if you were to come under attack, it would take a fairly long time for aid to come from an ally.

Subordinate Kingdom(s): Umbar.
